Membership in the Western Pension & Benefits Council – San Francisco Chapter connects you to a trusted, interdisciplinary network of employee benefits professionals committed to learning, collaboration, and professional excellence.


WP&BC San Francisco helps members build community, expertise, and confidence— while advancing the broader public good by elevating the practice of employee benefits in the Bay Area.

Membership Types


Plan Sponsor Memberships

The San Francisco Chapter offers special membership rates for professionals employed by organizations that sponsor employee benefit plans for their own workforce.

Examples include employers, nonprofits, government entities, educational institutions, and other organizations responsible for administering retirement and health benefit programs for their employees.


Eligibility is limited to individuals whose primary responsibilities include the oversight, administration, governance, or management of their organization's employee benefit plans.


Plan Sponsor Membership - $100   

For professionals responsible for the management, administration, governance, or oversight of their organization's employee benefit plans, including benefits, HR, total rewards, finance, and fiduciary professionals.

Half-year prorated dues are available after January 1.


Plan Sponsor Team Membership - $100 for the primary membership, $50 for each additional team member
 

For organizations with multiple professionals involved in employee benefit plans. Extends membership opportunities across eligible benefits, HR, total rewards, finance, and fiduciary team members.


Service Provider Memberships

Service Provider Memberships are available to professionals and organizations that provide services, products, expertise, or support to employee benefit plans and plan sponsors.

Examples include advisors, consultants, attorneys, actuaries, auditors, accountants, TPAs, recordkeepers, investment managers, insurance professionals, banks, and other industry service providers.


Service Provider Membership - $150 (USD) 

For professionals who provide services, products, or expertise to employee benefit plans and plan sponsors, including advisors, consultants, attorneys, actuaries, accountants, TPAs, recordkeepers, and investment professionals.


Half-year prorated dues are available after January 1.


Service Provider Team Membership

For firms with multiple professionals serving the employee benefits industry. Available through Chapter sponsorship and designed to provide membership access and engagement opportunities across your team.


Annual Sponsorship Levels: $2,000–$6,000
